Safety Training: Safety is our utmost priority at the range and for our business. Every member, without exception, will be required to complete a Range Safety Course before accessing the facilities. We will offer these courses on a weekly basis, both in-person and online. By securing memberships early, we can ensure that all members receive the necessary training and are fully prepared for the range’s opening.
Staffing and Instructors: Knowing the volume of memberships in advance enables us to properly plan and train an adequate number of Range Officers, as well as instructors for personalized 1-on-1 training sessions. Range Waiver and Rules – Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center
Please read this waiver and familiarize yourself with the rules before using our gun range facilities at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center. Your safety and the safety of others are our utmost priority. By signing this waiver, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with the rules and regulations outlined below:
Assumption of Risk: The undersigned acknowledges that the use of firearms involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, death, and property damage. The undersigned assumes all risks associated with the use of the gun range facilities at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center.
Safety Briefing: All individuals utilizing the gun range facilities must attend a safety briefing conducted by a certified range officer at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center. The safety briefing will cover essential safety guidelines, range rules, and emergency procedures specific to our facility. Failure to attend the safety briefing may result in the denial of access to the gun range.
Range Officer’s Instructions: Individuals must follow all instructions given by the range officer or any authorized personnel at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center. Failure to comply may result in immediate expulsion from the premises.
Age Restriction: The minimum age for accessing the gun range at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center is 18 years. Minors between the ages of 14 and 17 may be allowed with the presence and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Proper identification must be presented upon request.
Firearm Safety: All firearms must be treated as if they are loaded at all times. The muzzle of the firearm must always be pointed downrange at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center. Finger off the trigger until ready to fire, and firearms must be holstered or on the firing bench when not in use.
Ammunition Usage: Only approved ammunition is allowed on the premises of Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center. Reloaded or hand-loaded ammunition is strictly prohibited. Tracer, armor-piercing, and incendiary ammunition are also prohibited.
Eye and Ear Protection: The use of proper eye and ear protection is mandatory for all individuals on the gun range at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center. These protective items must be worn at all times, including during spectator activities.
Alcohol and Drug Policy: The consumption of alcohol or drugs before or during the use of the gun range facilities at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center is strictly prohibited. Individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied access to the gun range.
Holster Usage: Holster usage is permitted only for individuals who have successfully completed an approved holster certification course recognized by Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center. Holsters must be suitable for the firearm and must securely retain the weapon throughout its use.
Range Etiquette: Always respect the gun range facilities at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center and the property of others. Clean up your area after use and dispose of trash appropriately. Be courteous to fellow shooters and refrain from disruptive or unsafe behavior.
Target Placement and Retrieval: Targets must be placed only in designated areas and at authorized distances at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center. Only paper or cardboard targets are permitted unless otherwise approved by range staff. Retrieval of targets shall be done only during a ceasefire or when the range is deemed safe by the range officer.
Accidental Discharge Reporting: In the event of an accidental discharge, immediately notify the range officer at Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center and cooperate fully with any investigation that may follow.
Liability Release: The undersigned agrees to release, waive, and discharge Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any liability, claims, demands, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses, whether at law or in equity, arising out of the use of the gun range facilities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Indemnification: The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from or related to the undersigned’s use of the gun range facilities.
Severability: If any provision of this waiver and rules is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Governing Law: This waiver and rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or jurisdiction where Just Holster It Firearms and Training Center is located.
